The Samuel Eastman Model 80 is a solid violin that punches above its weight. It’s built from real tonewoods (spruce top, maple back and sides), so you get a warmer, more responsive sound right out of the case.
For students and advancing players, it’s just easier to work with. It stays in tune, responds cleanly under the bow, and doesn’t fight you when you’re trying to improve things like tone and control. Teachers love these for a reason—they’re consistent and dependable.
It’s also set up with quality parts where it matters—ebony fingerboard and fittings, plus a Despiau bridge—so it holds adjustment well and won’t need constant tinkering. If you’re a beginner, it gives you a better starting point. If you’ve been playing a bit, it’s a noticeable step up from the typical “entry-level” feel.
This violin comes standard with a BL10P Bow & CA450 Case.
