Drum Rods

Rods are a great middle ground between drumsticks and brushes. They’re made from bundled dowels instead of a solid stick, which gives you a softer attack without losing control. That means less volume, less harshness, and a more natural feel—perfect for practice, small rooms, or dialing things back without changing your technique.

They still respond like sticks, so you don’t have to relearn anything. You can play grooves, accents, and dynamics the same way—you just get a quieter, warmer sound out of it.
